Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Effective: October 1, 2026
1. Overview & Our Commitment
Caelum Mountain LLC (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”) operates this website as a B2B service provider. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in alignment with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We collect only the minimum information needed to respond to your inquiry and operate our business.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact form: name, company, work email, engagement type, budget range, and message — only when you submit the form on index.html#contact.
- Email correspondence: the content of messages you send to info@caelummountain.online.
- Technical data: browser type, operating system, and IP address in server logs, used for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies: essential cookies only, plus your cookie-consent choice (see Section 5).
We do not collect payment card numbers, passwords, or sensitive credentials through this website.
Payment processing. When you pay an invoice, payment is handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive only transaction confirmations and the last four digits of the card or account used; we never receive or store full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. Processor data is governed by the processor’s privacy policy.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process personal information: (a) to perform a contract when you engage our services; (b) for our legitimate interests in operating and securing our website; and (c) with your consent, such as when you submit the contact form or accept optional cookies.
4. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiry within one business day.
- To scope, deliver, and invoice services, and to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records).
- To improve website content and security.
5. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies to maintain site functionality and to remember your cookie preference. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default; we do not embed third-party tracking pixels. You may accept or decline optional cookies via the banner on first visit, and change your choice at any time via “Cookie Preferences” in the footer.
6. Information Sharing
We never sell personal information. We share data only: (a) with service providers (email delivery, web hosting) under strict confidentiality contracts; (b) to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety; or (c) in connection with a business transfer, with notice. Your inquiry content is never used for advertising.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to processing. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
8. Your Rights Under CCPA
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, and to opt out of any “sale” of personal information. Because we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of; you may still submit a “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” request via email and we will confirm compliance. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
9. Data Retention
Inquiry data is retained for 24 months unless an engagement is active, in which case records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by law (including tax records). You may request earlier deletion, subject to legal retention duties.
10. Data Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we maintain industry-standard safeguards.
11. International Transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Where we process EU personal data, we rely on GDPR transfer mechanisms (including Standard Contractual Clauses) with our providers.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
13. Changes to This Policy
We will post material changes on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
